Every cat owner knows that cats love balls of silver foil, and even more so crinkle balls.

These refills are made from about 5 meters of silver Mylar type material which results in a robust but soft and very light weight ball about the size of a tennis ball. The connection to the wand is made via a double swivel to prevent the cord becoming twisted.

As the ball is not simply rolled up silver paper it makes a good crinkle sound when rolled along the floor or when the furkid pounces on it which seems to be particularly attractive to younger cats and kittens.

If you wish you can also remove the cord by cutting it with scissors or a sharp knife and make this refill into a non interactive toy. Because of the large size it is much less likely to end up under couches etc which is the main problem with other crinkle ball cat toys available. However please note, you should not let a cat play with a cord toy unsupervised so if you wish to let your cat play with this refill alone you must completely remove the cord for safety.
