General Terms and Conditions

 

1. PAYMENT PROCESSING

1. All payments made via www.petswonderland.co.nz will be charged in NZD (New Zealand dollars. A currency converter is available to estimate the cost in your native currency.

2. PCI COMPLIANCE & CARD PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payments via www.petswonderland.co.nz will be processed by eWAY,  a secure Tier 1 PCI compliant payment processor. More information about PCI compliance relative to each provider can be found below.

3. BUSINESS REGISTRATION

Petswonderland is a trading brand operating under Leechensons Limited, a registered business based in Auckland, New Zealand.

4. RETURNS POLICY

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs ONLY if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).  

If any item is damaged in the order, please let us know within 72 hours of recieving the goods, and please leave the item in its original state.   We will provide you with a returns bag and instructions on what to do once we have recieved the email.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

5. SHIPPING

We currently can only deliver within New Zealand.  If for any reason, our system says it can not deliver to your address and you live in NZ, please contact us to let us know.  For any international requests, please email us.  

When you place an order, please allow up to 10 business days for delivery depending on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose.   Most items will be shipped the next business day or as soon as payment is recieved.  Shipping rates are calculated based on your order total and where the destination is.  

Note: We can not deliver to PO Box or Private Bag addresses, sorry.

Because we are based in Auckland, our shipping rates are as follows:

AUCKLAND REGION:

Order under $60: $5

Over $60: FREE 

NORTH ISLAND (everywhere else in North Island except for AUCKLAND region): 

Orders Under $50: $10

Orders between $50 - $100: $6

Orders between $100 - $150: $3

Orders over $150: FREE (excludes items with fixed shipping costs)

SOUTH ISLAND:

Orders under $200: $15

Orders over $200: FREE (excludes items with fixed shipping costs)

RURAL DELIVERIES: Please add $5 to all totals if it is rural delivery!

SMALL ITEMS SHIPPING:  Certain products we have in our store qualify for small items shipping which only costs from $5 to ship nationwide depending on the weight.  Please only select this shipping method if the items you purchase says "Eligible for Small Items Shipping"

Please also note that there are fixed shipping charges for some larger heavier items that we sell online.  For example, the mega cat furniture.  Due to the weight and size of these items, we have to charge extra for these items to be shipped. The shipping charge of any such item can be found on its detail page.
